In Trafalgar Square, Tropicana created a faux sun rise as part of their “Brighter Mornings” campaign. They describe the process:
The Trafalgar Sun which took six months to create is 30,000 times bigger than a football, has a surface area of 200m2 and weighs over 2,500kgs. Its internal light source produces 4-million lumens of light, the equivalent of 60,000 light bulbs, making the artwork visible from space.

Cool. I guess. But I’m left with wondering why? Did anyone see it from space? And how much did this project cost? Did it justify the awareness for Tropicana? The big question: Would anyone buy more Tropicana products because of this?
