Since leaving Best Buy in June, I have had the amazing fortune to collaborate with several people and focus my energy on the digital signage industry. It has given me an opportunity to see the need for a group of people to come together and provide this focus.
On Monday morning, a Press Release was distributed providing information on a new venture: The Preset Group. I am joining Dave Haynes and Pat Hellberg in a consultancy to help clients and partners achieve their goals in digital signage. You may know Dave from Sixteen:Nine, Buzz, Not Buzzwords, and pressDOOH. Pat’s pedigree is nothing short of stellar, coming from Nike and his own independent consultancy, Kaicon.

I cannot be more fortunate to have joined forces with these two gentlemen. We believe that there is a need for a group of people who have “been there and done that,” and can show clients the right way to manage a screen.
I know what you’re thinking. But geez, Paul, are you leaving us? Where are we going to find that witty outlook on the industry? And where will we find those zany clicks that you have given us?
No worries, my friends. I will continue to write this blog as I always have, pointing out my two cents and hoping you point back.
